Keeping Our Workplace Safe
D Batchelor Enterprises is committed to a safe and healthy workplace for workers, contractors, visitors and anyone affected by our work.
We support this commitment by maintaining safe work areas, tools and equipment; providing suitable information, instruction, training and supervision; ensuring our staff are first-aid trained and certified; keeping all required and relevant training current and completed; consulting with workers and encouraging hazard, injury and near-miss reporting; assessing risks and applying controls for new or changed work; providing appropriate PPE and instruction; maintaining suitable first-aid and emergency arrangements; responding to, investigating and helping prevent incidents; and regularly reviewing safety practices.
Everyone shares responsibility for safety: follow safety instructions, use equipment and PPE correctly, report unsafe conditions, and stop work and tell a supervisor when there is immediate danger.
